I was happy, until the first one burnt out after about 10 days of use (about 6 hours a day). I thought maybe that one was just bad, until the second one burned out after another 4 days of use. After removing them, I found that the base of each was leaking a viscous ozone-smelling fluid. Another quality product made in China for GE. I guess they might last 6 years if you never use them. I do NOT use a dimmer, so that isn't an issue. Beware of the very wide base just above where the bulb is screwed into the light socket. My outdoor lights have shields that protect the bulb, and in this case the shield base width was not wide enough to allow this bulb to fit.
