Sensitivity is good at turning on at the right distance to light my way both coming and going. It is sensing me at least 20' out. The light stays on long enough to be helpful. The sensor is adjustable so I can target the right area effectively. The cats are not to keen on it as they see better in te dark. After we lived in the house for about 4 years, the light stopped working. I believe that the problem was with the light sensor because the "Test" mode still worked, which means that the motion sensor was good, but the light would not turn on at night in non-test mode. So I ordered the same model to replace it so that I could reuse the existing wall mount. The new one worked well, but only for one week. Then it had exactly the same problem as the previous one. Amazon's return/exchange/replacement policy is great and I chose replacement. I've just installed the replacement, and will see how long this one last. |
